Welcome

Where the fields meet the water

The Farm at Cedar Cove sits on Broad Creek in Royal Oak, Maryland, between St. Michaels and Easton and just up the road from the Oxford-Bellevue Ferry.

We bought the house in 2024 as a weekend escape from city life, somewhere to slow down and watch the water. Because it was never meant to be a rental, it's furnished the way we wanted our own vacation home to feel.

Now we get to share it. We hope you'll find the same quiet here that we did, and make memories of your own at the farm.

The House

Renovated top to bottom, made for gathering

Every inch was renovated between 2024 and 2026, from the custom kitchen cabinetry and countertops to the bathroom vanities and rooms designed to fill with light off the water. We chose every paint color, furnishing, and piece of art, and included the everyday comforts rentals often miss, including good appliances in the kitchen, clocks with sound machines in every bedroom, and plenty of outlets to charge phones and laptops. There's room for everyone to cook together, play a few rounds at the games table, and end the day with a movie in the family room.

The Setting

Eighteen acres, all to yourselves

Beyond the house lies a working farm and a stretch of private shoreline on Broad Creek. The fields are worked by a local farmer and currently planted with sorghum. Mornings bring herons and osprey along the water. Evenings bring some of the best sunsets on the Shore.

Unwind on the porch, or gather in the Adirondack chairs at the water's edge. A one-kilometer gravel path loops the property, tracing the waterfront, the farmland, and the perimeter. It’s perfect for a morning walk or an evening stroll.

Dogs have long been part of life here, with generations of farm dogs calling the property home over the years. With so much space to roam, we have a feeling your dog will love the farm too.

The house is professionally deep cleaned after every stay, so it's fresh and welcoming for the next family, with or without a dog.
